Job Summary
This role involves ensuring the daily functional operation of the SAP standard software for approximately 2,500 users across 120 authorities within the Ministry of Finance of the State of Brandenburg. As a Policy Advisor, you will lead the functional operations team in close coordination with technical management to maintain and further develop the 'New Financial Management' (NFM) system. Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing ITIL-compliant change and support processes, coordinating application support, and acting as the central point of contact for budgetary, accounting, and asset management queries. Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree (Master's or University Diploma) in Public Administration, Economics, Business Administration (with focus on Public Management, Finance, or Controlling), or Law (First and Second State Examinations).
Experience
- Professional experience in public administration, finance, or controlling is highly preferred
- Experience with SAP modules FI and PSM as well as SAP Solution Manager is advantageous
- Proven experience in systematic planning and implementation of complex workflows
- Experience in leading and developing employees toward goal-oriented results
- Experience in managing support desk operations and ITIL-compliant processes
