Job Summary
This role offers the opportunity to actively shape the future of the city of Oberzent by joining the Construction Administration department in Rothenberg. As a Civil Engineer or Construction Technician, you will manage a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects, including road and bridge construction, water supply systems, fiber optics, and flood protection. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve the planning and supervision of construction and maintenance measures, cost estimation, and the creation of performance specifications and tenders. You will serve as a key point of contact for political bodies, citizens, authorities, and external architectural or engineering firms. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Civil Engineering (Diploma/Bachelor) specializing in Civil Engineering, Traffic Planning, Structural Engineering, or Water Supply; or a certified Construction Technician (Bautechniker) qualification in Civil Engineering.
Experience
- Professional experience in the planning and supervision of civil engineering or infrastructure projects
- Practical experience in creating performance specifications and tender documents
- Demonstrated experience in cost and schedule planning for construction measures
- Experience in managing relationships with public authorities, contractors, and engineering offices
- Proven track record in document management and technical software application
