Job Summary
As an IT Support Specialist for a global leader in professional foodservice equipment, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of client computing infrastructure at the Herborn logistics site. Your daily activities will involve providing first and second-level support, configuring hardware such as PCs, printers, and mobile devices, and maintaining business applications including ERP, CRM, and Solidworks. You will play a vital role in employee onboarding, inventory management, and assisting with IT project leadership. You will work semi-independently to ensure IT service desk tickets are resolved efficiently while maintaining high quality and security standards across the network.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) or equivalent professional experience.
Experience
- At least 4 years of experience in an IT support role
- Professional experience in hardware procurement, installation, and maintenance
- Experience in supporting business applications and manufacturing equipment
- Proven track record in handling IT service desk ticketing systems and knowledge bases
- Experience in both individual and team-based technical environments

- Willingness to travel up to 10% to other locations. Availability for on-call duty during non-business hours in case of critical emergencies. Permanent full-time position located in Herborn, Germany.
