Job Summary
As a Laboratory Technician for Drug Substance at IDT Biologika, you will play a vital role in the GMP-compliant production of viral human vaccines. Your daily responsibilities include conducting production processes, performing in-process and end-product sampling, and meticulously documenting all manufacturing steps. You will be responsible for system-based reporting in SAP, managing labels, and ensuring strict adherence to safety and GMP regulations. Furthermore, you will support the validation and qualification of equipment and processes while assisting in the creation of master documentation and deviation reports. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a background in biology or medical technology who wants to contribute to global health initiatives. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Biology Laboratory Technician, Biological Technical Assistant (BTA), Medical Technical Assistant (MTA), or a similar scientific qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in the testing or manufacturing of pharmaceuticals or biologics
- Practical experience in sterile laboratory environments
- Experience handling cell cultures and microorganisms
- Experience with GMP-compliant documentation and deviation reporting
