Job Summary

As an Electrical Development Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development and design of power electronic components, such as inverters and DC/DC converters, for a leading maritime systems provider in Kiel. Your day-to-day tasks involve circuit development, dimensioning, and creating EMC-compliant PCB layouts. You will also conduct simulations to analyze electrical behavior and perform hands-on prototype assembly, commissioning, and validation using laboratory measurement equipment. This role requires close collaboration with software and manufacturing teams to ensure products move smoothly from concept to series production. The position is particularly attractive due to its high-tech maritime context (ships and submarines), the opportunity for hybrid/remote work, and the backing of a global engineering consultancy. You will benefit from a structured career path, attractive compensation, and a focus on work-life balance within a diverse, international network.
