Job Summary
This role involves the comprehensive management of a Windows client environment within a family-run, innovative plastics manufacturing company. As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of hardware and software, including the installation, configuration, and maintenance of workstations, laptops, printers, and mobile devices. Your daily routine will focus on ensuring a stable and user-friendly IT infrastructure through proactive maintenance, updates, and first-level support. You will act as a key point of contact for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, escalating complex problems to second-level support when necessary. Beyond technical maintenance, you will play a vital role in internal training and supporting IT projects and rollouts. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in an IT-related field (e.g., IT Systems Electronician) or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- At least 2 years of professional experience in IT, telecommunications, or networking
- Professional experience in supporting Windows-based client environments
- Experience in the installation and configuration of PC hardware and peripherals
- Previous experience with ERP systems, specifically proAlpha, is desirable
