Job Summary

This leadership role involves overseeing the strategic development and operational management of technical infrastructure for the IHP research institute's new site in Cottbus. Initially, you will act as the future operator's representative during the planning and construction phases of office, laboratory, and cleanroom buildings, focusing heavily on Technical Building Services (TGA). As the project transitions, you will take full responsibility for commissioning facilities and managing long-term operations. This includes establishing systematic maintenance management, coordinating external service providers, and implementing safety and emergency protocols. This is a unique opportunity to shape a high-tech research environment from the ground up within a prestigious international institute. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Engineering, specifically in Building Technology, Supply Engineering, Process Engineering, Building Automation, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in the planning, construction, and operation of technical infrastructures
  • Proven experience in supporting construction projects from an operator or user perspective
  • Leadership experience in building or managing technical operations teams
  • Experience in laboratory or cleanroom environments is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating external service providers and partners
