Job Summary
As an IT Project Associate at RhineMain University of Applied Sciences, you will be responsible for the conception, implementation, and realignment of the IT infrastructure within the Faculty of Social Work's media laboratory. Your day-to-day role involves optimizing IT operations for teaching, research, and administration, including the configuration of system and software distribution. A unique aspect of this position is the integration of XR/AR (Extended Reality/Augmented Reality) devices into the existing infrastructure and the development of standardized support processes. You will work closely with the Dean's office and central IT units to ensure high-quality network and media technology services. This role is ideal for technical professionals who enjoy project documentation and transitioning systems into regular operation. Required Skills
Education
University degree with an information technology focus (preferably Applied Computer Science) or completed vocational training in information technology.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT infrastructure and system configuration
- At least 3 years of professional experience in the specified field if applying with a vocational qualification
- Experience in software packaging and distribution
- Experience in integrating diverse client systems into existing topographies
- Experience in server-based administration mechanisms and tools
