Job Summary

As the Team Lead Solution Engineering at Ubica Robotics, you will bridge the gap between high-end engineering and customer success for a growing robotics startup. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of developers and engineers, overseeing the technical strategy for new client acquisitions and managing complex Proof-of-Concept (POC) projects. Your day-to-day involves acting as the primary technical authority in pre-sales consultations, translating customer requirements into technical roadmaps, and collaborating with product management to influence the future of autonomous retail robotics. This role is unique for its blend of deep technical leadership and strategic business impact, allowing you to shape how autonomous systems and data-driven insights transform the stationary retail landscape. You will define KPIs to measure project success and ensure that innovative hardware-software solutions are successfully integrated into real-world retail environments.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable technical qualification.

Experience

  • Extensive professional experience in the development of complex hardware-software systems
  • Proven leadership experience or professional management of projects involving developers and engineers
  • Demonstrated experience in technical customer consultations at decision-maker and IT levels, preferably in B2B
  • Expert knowledge in at least one core area such as robotics, perception, cloud systems, or IT networking
  • Optional: Professional experience within the stationary retail sector is an advantage
