This role involves joining a dedicated 18-person team at MarMed GmbH, a long-standing supplier of veterinary equipment. As an IT Support Specialist, you will manage a hybrid server infrastructure consisting of both Linux (OpenSUSE) and Windows environments. Your day-to-day responsibilities include administering databases, firewalls, and VPN systems, while ensuring the stability of network operations and mobile device management. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in IT (e.g., Fachinformatiker) or a comparable professional qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in the administration of Linux (OpenSUSE) and Windows systems
- Proven experience in network administration and VPN configuration
- Experience working with Active Directory, SAMBA, and IT peripheral devices
- Experience in supporting IT infrastructure and end-user hardware/software rollouts
