Job Summary
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will join an experienced team of CAE planners to support project managers across various product divisions. Your daily responsibilities involve designing plant concepts and single-line diagrams, as well as creating comprehensive circuit diagrams, terminal and cable plans, and parts lists using EPLAN. You will be responsible for selecting low-voltage components, managing materials via ERP systems, and maintaining project documentation. A key part of the role includes developing EPLAN macros, forms, and basic projects to drive standardization. This position is ideal for technical professionals who enjoy a mix of independent conceptual work and collaborative team efforts. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician, preferably with further qualification as a Master Craftsman (Meister) or State-Certified Technician.
Experience
- Professional experience in the planning or manufacturing of medium-voltage switchgear is desirable
- Experience in using EPLAN is preferred
- Experience in creating terminal plans, cable plans, and assembly drawings
- Proven experience in independent material disposition and component selection
