As a Motor Development Engineer or Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development and construction of synchronous and axial flux motors. Your daily tasks will include designing components for electric motors and coil systems, performing FEM calculations and structural analyses, and creating simulation-based designs. You will also be involved in the hands-on aspect of innovation by conducting tests to validate motor designs and developing the necessary tools and fixtures for production. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Development & Design, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in the design and construction of electric motors or coil systems
- Proven experience using standard CAD and FEM software tools
- Experience in plant engineering and the creation of technical documentation
- Professional experience in conducting structural analyses and motor validation tests
- Experience in process simulation is considered an advantage
