Job Summary
As an IT Systems and Network Administrator at Effgen Schleiftechnik, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and secure operation of the company's entire IT infrastructure. Your daily tasks will include installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware, systems, and networks, as well as managing data backups and recovery processes. You will play a critical role in network security by implementing firewalls and access controls, while also supporting staff through workstation setup and technology training. This position offers the chance to work with modern technologies like Windows Server 2025, Azure, and Microsoft 365 in a market-leading family business characterized by flat hierarchies and quick decision-making. You will be instrumental in keeping the company's systems up-to-date by adapting hardware and software to technological changes and creating essential IT policies and manuals.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) or Digital Networking (Digitale Vernetzung).
Experience
- Professional experience in managing Windows Servers and virtual environments is mandatory
- Experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware and networks
- Experience in data backup and recovery operations
- Professional experience in network security and firewall implementation
- Experience in user account management and software distribution via Intune
