Job Summary

This role involves planning and implementing complex manufacturing processes for high-voltage battery storage systems on behalf of BMW AG. As a Production Process Planner, you will take full responsibility for specific line sections, overseeing assembly, gluing, painting, and foaming processes. Your daily activities will range from the initial design and specification of production equipment to the final handover to industrialization teams. You will act as a vital bridge between development, planning, and operations, ensuring that technical solutions meet strict time, cost, and quality standards. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a similar field of study.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the planning and implementation of manufacturing systems
  • Experience in the production of high-voltage batteries is highly desirable
  • Specialized knowledge in gluing, surface pretreatment/coating, foaming, or conveyor technology is advantageous
  • Deep understanding of the specific requirements for automotive series production
