Job Summary

As an Operational Compliance Expert at one of Europe's largest banking IT service providers, you will play a critical role in securing the digital banking infrastructure of the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe. Operating within the Core Banking & Payments division, you will serve as the primary interface for 2nd Line of Defense (LoD) functions, ensuring the implementation of security-relevant requirements across risk, business continuity, and outsourcing management. Your daily responsibilities include advising departments on regulatory compliance, managing ICT risk assessments under DORA and MaRisk frameworks, and coordinating emergency drills and audits. This position is ideal for a professional who enjoys bridging the gap between high-level regulatory requirements and operational execution. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • At least 6 years of professional experience, preferably in compliance, IT risk, or security management
  • Extensive experience in the implementation of regulatory requirements at an operational level
  • Proven experience in business continuity planning, emergency testing, and disaster recovery scenarios
  • Professional experience in managing internal and external audits and processing audit findings
  • Experience in service provider management and outsourcing risk assessments
