Job Summary
This role is designed for a detail-oriented professional to manage the financial integrity of a non-profit foundation. Day-to-day, you will be responsible for the settlement and disbursement of foundation funds, auditing main and subsidiary cash registers, and performing general ledger accounting for ongoing business transactions. You will play a key role in month-end and year-end closing processes and ensure strict compliance with legal and internal security standards. A unique aspect of this position is the opportunity to actively shape the digital transformation of the foundation's accounting processes by helping introduce new digital tools. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Tax Assistant (Steuerfachangestellter), Industrial Clerk (Industriekaufmann/-frau), or a comparable commercial qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in an accounting-related field
- Proven practical experience in ongoing financial accounting
- Professional experience in cash handling, disbursements, and settlements
- Experience with month-end and year-end closing procedures
