Job Summary

This role involves the creation and continuous development of comprehensive repair, service, and spare parts documentation, including service manuals and conversion instructions. As a Technical Writer at Akkodis, you will be responsible for planning and managing documentation packages, ensuring adherence to strict deadlines, budgets, and international quality standards. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, external service providers, and international partners to develop service and maintenance concepts, including spare parts strategies and life-cycle cost analyses. The position is ideal for professionals who enjoy structuring complex technical data into clear instructions and who want to contribute to the innovation of digital engineering solutions. You will play a key role in ensuring that maintenance procedures are efficient and economically viable throughout the product lifecycle, working within a global network of experts.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in a technical field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Technical Documentation) or comparable practical experience in a service/documentation environment.

Experience

  • Professional experience in creating repair, service, or spare parts documentation
  • Experience with technical service processes, structures, and maintenance workflows
  • Proven experience with spare parts concepts and bill of materials (BOM) logic
  • Practical experience using editorial systems or CMS/CCMS tools
  • Experience in managing documentation packages including cost and schedule responsibility
