Job Summary
This permanent full-time role within the State of Schleswig-Holstein's Office for the Protection of the Constitution focuses on strengthening operational intelligence within the cyber and information space. As a Data Scientist, you will design data-centric evaluation supports, develop systematic analysis procedures for both structured and unstructured data, and implement systems for data organization and modeling. Your daily work involves identifying patterns in complex data sets and presenting these findings through high-level reports and presentations to support counter-extremism efforts. Required Skills
Education
Master's degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Computer Science, or another natural science or technical field.
Experience
- Professional experience in applying statistical methods and visualizing analytical results
- Practical experience in software development and managing software projects
- Experience working with SQL and NoSQL database systems
- Hands-on experience with programming and scripting languages such as R, Java, C++, Python, or Bash
- Experience in data organization, modeling, and interpreting complex data patterns
- Professional experience in technical intelligence or analytical support is preferred
