Job Summary

As a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the structural integrity of components using advanced testing methods. Based in Ahaus, your day-to-day responsibilities include performing Visual Testing (VT), Radiographic Testing (RT/RTD), Leak Testing (LT), and Penetrant Testing (PT). You will focus specifically on digital radiography (CR) using imaging plates, visual inspections, and leak tests, while also creating microsections for material analysis. A major component of this role involves documenting results and supporting international assembly sites and construction projects both within and outside of Europe. This position is particularly attractive for professionals who enjoy global travel and want to work with modern radiographic technology in a dynamic, international environment. The role operates on a two-shift system and offers the potential for permanent placement with the client.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a skilled metalworker or a comparable technical qualification. Ideally holds valid NDT certificates (Level 1 or 2) according to DIN EN ISO 9712 for VT, RT/RT-D, LT, and PT.

Experience

  • Professional experience in non-destructive testing (NDT)
  • Experience with radiographic technology (CR) and imaging plates
  • Experience with SNT-TC-1A (ASME) standards is preferred
  • Background as a skilled metalworker or equivalent technical qualification
  • Experience working on international construction sites or assembly projects

Additional

  • Willingness to travel extensively worldwide for short and long-term assignments. Flexibility to work in a 2-shift system. Valid work permit for Germany/EU required.
