Job Summary

This role involves the end-to-end technical management of water treatment projects, specifically focusing on membrane-based systems for the shipping and industrial sectors. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the process design of treatment systems and the creation of technical and commercial proposals. Your day-to-day work includes detailed engineering, developing P&IDs, overseeing 3D plant construction, and managing procurement and costs. You will also provide technical consultation to international clients and partners in both German and English. You will guide projects through to completion, including Factory and Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT), ensuring high-quality documentation and client satisfaction.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Process Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a comparable qualification (B.Eng., M.Eng., or Dipl.-Ing.)

Experience

  • Professional experience in process design for water treatment systems
  • Extensive experience in membrane technologies such as Reverse Osmosis (RO), Ultrafiltration (UF), and Nanofiltration (NF)
  • Proven experience in full-cycle project management from proposal to final client acceptance
  • Experience in technical sales support and international client consulting
  • Experience in procurement of technical components and service providers
