Job Summary
As a Specialist Electrical Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of Dresden's public transport infrastructure. Your daily responsibilities include developing technological and structural solutions for electrical systems, coordinating maintenance processes, and performing technical measurements and network analyses. You will act as the owner's representative in construction projects, overseeing planning approvals and technical acceptances. This role requires a strategic mindset to plan annual construction investments and ensure compliance with strict technical standards and safety regulations. Required Skills
Education
University degree (University or University of Applied Sciences) in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification with specialized knowledge in railway power supply.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in the operation and maintenance of electrical systems
- Proven experience in the planning and management of engineering projects
- Experience in commercial management of maintenance processes
- Basic experience in the bidding and awarding process for construction and delivery services

- Valid Class B driver's license required. Must be willing to participate in winter services and on-call shifts. Position is fixed-term until April 30, 2027.
