This leadership role involves overseeing the commercial and infrastructural building management for the Municipality of Wenden. As the Head of Department, you will coordinate facility management services, manage a team of caretakers, and drive strategic process optimization. Your daily responsibilities include managing procurement procedures for services and construction projects according to German public procurement law (VOB, HOAI, UVgO), handling contract administration, and monitoring budgets. You will also play a key role in political committee work by preparing meeting templates and reports. Required Skills

Education

Completed Administrative Training II (Verwaltungslehrgang II), qualification for the higher non-technical administrative service, or a university degree in Business Law, Business Administration, or Administrative Science.

Experience

  • Professional experience in commercial building management, real estate, or facility management
  • Experience in the public sector is preferred
  • Experience in procurement procedures for supplies, services, and construction works
  • Leadership experience or demonstrated leadership competence for department management
  • Experience in committee work and preparing administrative reports
