Job Summary
As the Head of Quality Management at GERSYS in Wolfratshausen, you will take overall responsibility for leading and advancing quality assurance processes for custom display devices and on-board electronics used in rail and special vehicles. Your daily activities will include monitoring quality planning, optimizing the integrated management system, and managing customer and supplier complaints while ensuring delivery reliability. You will also oversee Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) sectors. This role is ideal for a leader who thrives in a collaborative, family-oriented environment within the larger HÜBNER Group. You will work closely with executive management to drive continuous improvement across all products and processes. The position offers an attractive combination of flexible working hours, home office options, and a supportive atmosphere in the beautiful Upper Bavaria region.
Required Skills
Education
Completed technical training with further qualification as a Master (Meister) or Technician, or a university degree in Electrical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a comparable field. Qualification as a Quality Management Representative (QMB) or Auditor is preferred.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in quality management, quality assurance, or supplier management
- Leadership experience with the ability to motivate teams and implement change
- Professional experience in an industry with high quality standards, ideally rail vehicles
- Proven experience in planning and conducting internal and external audits
- Experience in managing integrated management systems and process optimization
