Job Summary
As an Energy Manager for the District of Rosenheim, you will lead the implementation and oversight of a comprehensive energy management system for district-owned buildings. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve selecting and procuring specialized energy management software, establishing building monitoring systems with sensor technology, and conducting detailed consumption analysis across electricity, gas, oil, and district heating. You will be responsible for identifying energy weaknesses, benchmarking performance, and developing technical measures to optimize facility operations. Beyond technical analysis, you will organize training sessions for facility managers, report to committee leadership, and manage energy procurement contracts. This position is ideal for a professional looking to combine technical engineering expertise with strategic project management in a public service setting. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Building Management, Energy Management, Energy and Building Technology, Energy Economics, or a comparable field of study. Additional qualification as a certified Energy Advisor is advantageous.
Experience
- Professional experience in energy management or renewable energy is preferred
- Practical experience in project management and energy efficiency initiatives
- Experience in the application of measurement and control technology
- Experience in handling energy management software products
- Professional experience in technical facility monitoring and operational optimization
