Application Developer | Informatiker (m/w/d)

Job Summary
This role involves joining the IT department of SCHOTTEL, a global market leader in marine propulsion. As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for the entire software life cycle of the company's ERP system, including customizing standard features and programming individual adaptations. You will work closely with various departments and Product Owners to define requirements, conduct data analysis, and ensure smooth system operations. A significant upcoming project includes the migration of the existing ERP system to a newer version and the development of interfaces for CRM and other specialized software. This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy a mix of technical programming and direct user support within a stable, family-friendly industrial environment that offers flexible working hours and mobile work options.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Computer Science or a related field, or a completed vocational training program with significant relevant professional experience.
Experience
- At least 2 years of professional experience in application development for university graduates
- Several years of relevant professional experience for candidates with vocational training
- Professional experience with ERP systems is highly desirable
- Experience in collaborating with specialized business departments and Product Owners

Additional
- The role allows for mobile working up to 8 days per month. Candidates must be able to document technical processes in English.
