Job Summary
As an AI Engineer at Vossloh, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of green mobility by developing and implementing productive Generative AI applications. Based in Düsseldorf or Werdohl, your daily responsibilities will involve designing, developing, and operating LLM-based systems, including agents and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) patterns. You will be responsible for the entire GenAI lifecycle, from architecture and orchestration using LangChain to the integration of external APIs and the implementation of LLMOps practices. This role is highly technical, requiring you to manage evaluation metrics, observability, and cost-latency tuning while ensuring security and compliance standards.
