Job Summary
As a member of the NIS-2 Taskforce for the Saarland State Administration, you will play a critical role in implementing the European NIS-2 directive across key government institutions. Your daily responsibilities will involve supporting risk management processes within the context of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) and Business Continuity Management Systems (BCMS). You will participate in cross-departmental working groups, develop security policies, and refine the IT infrastructure risk management strategy for the state's central IT service provider. This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy structured, conceptual work and want to contribute to the digital sovereignty of public administration. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics. Alternatively, a completed vocational training as an IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker) combined with several years of relevant professional experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in the operative implementation of IT security directives or risk management processes
- Experience in creating and maintaining information security policies and strategies
- Experience with BSI IT-Grundschutz methodology or comparable international standards like ISO 27001
- Several years of relevant professional experience required if applying with a vocational background instead of a degree
- Preferred: Project experience in digitalization projects, specifically within the public sector

- The position is based in the Saarland State Administration. Applicants with foreign degrees must provide a Statement of Comparability from the Central Office for Foreign Education (ZAB). The role follows the TV-L collective agreement for public service.
