Job Summary

As a Measurement Technician based in Bochum, you will play a critical role in quality assurance for railway component manufacturing. Your daily responsibilities include performing and evaluating 3D measurements using Zeiss measuring machines to ensure precision down to the micrometer level. You will be responsible for initial sample inspections (FAI) and providing first-part approvals for series production. This role requires a high degree of technical accuracy and the ability to work with specialized software. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Cutting Machine Operator (Zerspanungsmechaniker), ideally supplemented with a Technician qualification or similar technical degree.

Experience

Professional experience in precision measurement and 3D metrology
Experience in operating Zeiss 3D measuring machines and Calypso software
Proven track record in conducting initial sample inspections (FAI) and series production approvals
Experience handling fine measurement equipment with micrometer accuracy
Basic experience using SAP for inventory and manufacturing data

Additional

Must be willing to work in a shift system. Forklift license and crane operator license are desirable. Position is located in Bochum and requires a valid work permit for Germany.
