Job Summary

As a Physicist in Pre-development, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare by designing and implementing Photon-Counting CT technologies for radiotherapy. Your day-to-day responsibilities include developing prototypes for physical processes and algorithms, conducting technical and clinical validation studies, and creating requirement specifications for application solutions. You will bridge the gap between technical innovation and clinical practice by supporting customers on-site and translating workflow needs into training concepts. This role offers a highly collaborative environment where you will work in multidisciplinary teams, supervise academic students, and publish scientific findings. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree in Physics or Medical Physics and a completed PhD in a relevant field.

Experience

  • Several years of scientific experience in physics or medical physics, typically acquired through a PhD program
  • Professional experience in the application of CT and Radiotherapy (RT)
  • Several years of clinical experience including knowledge of radiotherapy imaging workflows
  • Proven experience in programming with Python, Matlab, C++, and C#
  • Experience in documenting complex technical relationships and delivering professional presentations
  • Experience in supervising doctoral, master's, or bachelor's students
