Job Summary
In this role at DB Fernverkehr AG in Munich, you will take ownership of the electrical energy and infrastructure systems within the plant, including 1000V depot power supplies, 670V rectifier systems, and technical building equipment under 1kV. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve ensuring the safe, legally compliant operation of all facilities, defining technical requirements for new construction or renovation projects, and managing the entire lifecycle from planning to commissioning. You will coordinate maintenance activities, supervise external service providers, and serve as a technical expert in cross-departmental projects. This position is ideal for those who enjoy troubleshooting complex technical issues and driving continuous improvement in facility safety and availability. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a completed advanced training as a Master Craftsman (Meister) or State-Certified Technician in a relevant field.
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical engineering or mechatronics
- Experience in the operation and maintenance of electrical infrastructure facilities
- Experience in defining technical requirements and managing commissioning for construction projects
- Experience in coordinating external service providers and cross-functional teams
- Qualification as a Responsible Qualified Electrician (VEFK) or willingness to obtain it
