Job Summary

As an Engineer and Project Manager for Digitalization Projects at DB InfraGO AG, you will be at the forefront of modernizing Germany's rail infrastructure through the 'Digital Rail Germany' initiative. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve steering the planning and implementation of construction projects with a technical focus on control and safety technology, specifically ETCS and interlocking systems. You will coordinate technical support across planning, procurement, and acceptance phases while ensuring cross-disciplinary alignment. This role requires managing project documentation, budgets, and schedules while reporting progress to the PMO. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Control and Safety Technology, Communications Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable technical field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the planning and construction management of railway infrastructure projects
  • Experience with electronic interlocking systems and associated commissioning processes
  • Proven experience in technical project steering including cost and deadline monitoring
  • Experience in creating performance specifications and tender documentation
