As an Automation Technician, you will play a critical role in the development, implementation, and maintenance of customized applications using proprietary software. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve participating in project and client meetings to ensure technical requirements are met, as well as performing hands-on mechanical and electrical modifications. A significant portion of this role involves international travel to handle global installations and commissioning of systems. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training or degree as a Technician, Automation Technician, or Microtechnology Specialist.

Experience

  • Professional experience as a Technician, Automation Technician, or Microtechnology Specialist
  • Experience in electrical engineering or working with optical systems is preferred
  • Experience in mechanical and electrical modification work
  • Experience in global installation and commissioning of technical systems
