This role involves leading the digital transformation of the City of Gronau's administration. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the planning and implementation of E-Government projects, analyzing existing processes to transition them into digital workflows, and developing the city's digitalization strategy in areas like Smart City and AI. A core focus of the position is the organizational administration and further development of the Document Management System (DMS), where you will manage master data, implement digital files, and provide user support. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Administrative Informatics, Business Informatics, Digital Administration, E-Government, Public Management, or Public Administration. Alternatively, a completed administrative training (Verwaltungslehrgang II) with relevant professional experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in managing municipal digitalization projects
  • At least 2 years of experience in supporting municipal digitalization projects (required for candidates with non-IT specific administrative degrees)
  • Practical experience with d.velop documents software
  • Experience in process optimization and transitioning analog workflows to digital
  • Experience in public administration or public sector environments
