This role involves working within the Düsseldorf branch of the North Rhine-Westphalia Building and Real Estate Department (BLB NRW), managing one of Europe's largest and most demanding real estate portfolios. As an Electrical Engineer, you will work in interdisciplinary project teams to plan and execute electrical systems for state-owned buildings, contributing significantly to the goal of a climate-neutral administration by 2030. Your daily responsibilities include providing planning services according to HOAI, conducting feasibility studies, and managing external engineering firms and contractors. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor/Diploma/Master) in Electrical Engineering, Energy and Building Technology, or a comparable engineering field; OR a qualification as a State-Certified Technician or Master Craftsman in Electrical Engineering.

Experience

  • Professional experience in electrical engineering, preferably within the real estate sector
  • Experience in planning and execution of construction projects according to HOAI
  • Experience in managing external service providers and contractors
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant engineering-level experience required if applying with a Technician or Master Craftsman qualification

Languages

German (Fluent)

  • Valid driver's license and willingness to drive a company vehicle is required. Must have German language skills at level C1 or higher.
