Job Summary

As a Project Manager for Energy Plant Construction Projects at FERCHAU, you will be responsible for the end-to-end steering and coordination of construction projects specifically focused on high and extra-high voltage substations. Your daily activities will involve developing technical concepts and layouts using CAD systems such as AutoCAD, EPLAN, or Revit, while managing the planning of foundations, steel structures, and cabling concepts. You will act as a critical interface manager between primary and secondary technology, protection, and control systems, ensuring all designs comply with national DIN/VDE standards and network operator regulations. This role is highly collaborative, requiring you to analyze customer requirements, create technical specifications, and support the procurement process through technical consultations with suppliers. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Proven track record in coordinating interfaces between different engineering trades
  • Extensive experience in planning switchgear, transformers, and circuit breakers
  • Demonstrated proficiency in creating technical documentation and planning documents
  • Practical experience using CAD software for technical layouts and overview plans
