Job Summary
As a Design Verification Scientist, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, and evaluation of design verification tests within electronic systems for the pharmaceutical and life science sectors. This role involves performing visual and functional testing on primary packaging and application systems, specifically focusing on autoinjectors for subcutaneous use. You will develop test methods, manage method transfers for force measurements, and ensure all documentation is GMP-compliant. A significant part of the role involves statistical data analysis and visualization in English-language reports. You will act as a key collaborator between R&D in Ludwigshafen and international sites, including the USA, participating in global meetings. This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy combining technical laboratory work with rigorous quality standards and international communication. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Engineering or a comparable qualification (e.g., Pharmaceutical Technology, Biotechnology).
Experience
- Extensive practical experience in a GMP laboratory environment is required
- Professional experience in the field of medical devices, medical technology, or pharmaceuticals is preferred
- Proven experience in the independent planning, execution, and evaluation of experiments
- Experience in documenting test results according to regulatory standards
Languages
Additional
- Must be able to collaborate with international teams (specifically USA) and participate in global teleconferences. Requires proficiency in electronic documentation systems and archiving processes.
