Job Summary

As a Test Bench Electronics Technician at FERCHAU, you will play a critical role in the research and development sector by ensuring the operational readiness of advanced testing facilities. Your daily responsibilities will involve the maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting of test benches and their associated plant technology. You will be tasked with identifying and rectifying faults within PLC and contactor controls, as well as mechatronic systems. Beyond reactive repairs, you will actively contribute to process improvement by suggesting and implementing solutions for technical weaknesses and documenting all system modifications. Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed vocational training as an Industrial Electrician, Industrial Mechatronics Technician, or a comparable professional qualification. Must be a qualified electrician (Elektrofachkraft) for systems up to 1000V AC / 1500V DC.

Experience

  • Professional experience in maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting of electrical and mechatronic systems
  • Proven experience in fault analysis for PLC and contactor control systems
  • Practical experience in documenting technical modifications and system changes
  • Experience working with high-voltage systems up to 1000V AC / 1500V DC
