This role focuses on the complex technical migration and modernization of industrial machinery. As a PLC Programmer, you will be responsible for porting PROMICON PLC systems to Siemens platforms, a process involving the detailed analysis, disassembly, and reconstruction of third-party machines over a 1-2 year lifecycle. Day-to-day tasks include creating and maintaining programs using the pCOM motion language and utilizing the pPRO configuration tool within the PIDS software package. You will define variables, constants, and objects while implementing mathematical functions and logical operators using C-based syntax.
