Job Summary
This leadership role at the Institute for Medical and Pharmaceutical Examination Questions (IMPP) involves overseeing the strategic and operational management of nationwide state examinations for medical, pharmaceutical, and psychological professions. As the Head of Examination Services, you will lead a team responsible for the legally compliant planning, execution, and evaluation of exams in coordination with state authorities. A significant portion of the role involves bridging the gap between administrative requirements and IT development, specifically through IT requirements management and the modernization of examination formats (both analog and digital). You will analyze and optimize core processes, ensure quality control in logistics and data evaluation, and manage relationships with various internal and external stakeholders. This position is ideal for a professional with a strong analytical background and leadership experience who wants to contribute to the quality assurance of the healthcare education system in Germany while enjoying the stability and benefits of the public service sector.
Required Skills
Education
Master's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Mathematics, Linguistic Data Processing, or a comparable field of study.
Experience
- Professional leadership experience in managing small to medium-sized teams
- Practical experience in project management
- Experience in the administration of nationwide state examinations or similar large-scale testing environments
- Professional experience in public service or higher education sectors
- Experience in translating business requirements into technical IT concepts
