As an IT Systems Engineer, you will take on a pivotal role in managing and optimizing SAP system landscapes. Your daily responsibilities will involve the installation, upgrading, and patch management of SAP systems, alongside rigorous performance monitoring and the implementation of robust backup and recovery processes. You will serve as a technical bridge, designing and maintaining critical interfaces between SAP and external applications using middleware solutions like SAP Cloud Integration. Beyond technical maintenance, you will manage user roles and security permissions while providing high-level troubleshooting support. Required Skills
Education
Completed 4-year university degree in Information Technology, Business Informatics, or a related field.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in analyzing information technology and business requirements
- Several years of professional experience in project work, project organization, and project leadership
- Demonstrated experience in SAP system installation, upgrades, and maintenance
- Experience in designing and implementing interfaces between SAP and third-party systems

- Must meet the requirements for a valid reliability background check (ZÜP) according to Section 7 of the Aviation Security Act (LuftSiG). Willingness to participate in on-call duty (Rufbereitschaft) is required.
