Job Summary

As an Offshore Lead Technician for the 'He Dreiht' wind farm, you will be a pivotal figure in the operation of 64 high-capacity V-236 wind turbines. Working on a 14/14 rotation from a modern Service Operation Vessel (SOV), you will plan and organize daily service tasks, coordinate team and vessel transfers, and ensure strict adherence to health and safety standards. This role bridges the gap between technical execution and management, involving technical meetings with back-office teams and direct communication with client representatives. You will be responsible for the long-term planning of annual maintenance activities and the creation of detailed daily reports. Required Skills

Education

Qualification in Electrical Engineering from a technical school, college, or university. Includes qualification as a Qualified Electrician (DIN VDE 0105-100) via internal training.

Experience

  • At least 2 years of practical experience working with electrical and/or mechanical systems
  • Professional experience in the offshore sector or with high-voltage systems is preferred
  • Practical experience working specifically with wind energy turbines
  • Proven experience in planning and organizing technical service activities

Additional

  • Must be willing and able to work at great heights and in offshore environments; involves a 14/14 day rotation schedule living on a Service Operation Vessel (SOV).
