Job Summary

This role involves managing the operational and technical aspects of inland waterway traffic information systems for the Office of Inland Traffic Engineering (ABVT) in Koblenz. You will be responsible for the planning, maintenance, and further development of critical communication networks and services, including AIS and DGNSS systems. Day-to-day tasks include evaluating system documentation, coordinating maintenance and inspections, managing spare parts, and handling procurement processes for new equipment. You will also lead planning meetings and conduct training sessions on transmission technology.
