Job Summary
As a Civil Engineer for Tendering and Procurement within 'One Team Heidelberg', you will take professional responsibility for the technical and legal aspects of municipal infrastructure projects. Your day-to-day work involves creating detailed tender documents for traffic systems, wastewater facilities, and structural engineering works in accordance with HOAI Phase 6. You will coordinate closely with public clients, utilities, and external engineering firms to ensure projects are legally compliant, economical, and delivered on schedule. Additionally, you will develop traffic safety and diversion concepts while overseeing the awarding of construction contracts. This role is ideal for a structured professional who enjoys managing complex public infrastructure projects. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Civil Engineering, Road Construction, Sewerage, Structural Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in planning and tendering activities for infrastructure projects
- Experience in construction management and project control
- Extensive knowledge of German construction contract procedures (VOB) and fee structures (HOAI)
- Experience in coordinating with external engineering firms and public authorities
