Job Summary

As an Automotive Test Coordinator, you will take a central role in managing and steering testing activities within automotive development projects. Your daily responsibilities include planning and implementing comprehensive test strategies, concepts, and plans, while ensuring the successful execution of system, integration, and acceptance tests. You will be responsible for monitoring test progress, managing defects, and tracking KPIs to ensure high-quality standards. A significant part of the role involves acting as a key interface between development teams, quality assurance, suppliers, and customers, reporting status updates to project leadership and stakeholders. This position is particularly attractive for professionals who enjoy a mix of technical oversight and stakeholder management, offering the chance to work on complex automotive systems while facilitating reviews and audits according to ASPICE and OEM standards. You will contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and lead status meetings to ensure project alignment.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in test management or test coordination within the automotive industry
  • Proven experience working with test processes according to the V-Model
  • Practical experience in executing and managing system, integration, and acceptance tests
  • Experience using industry-standard test management tools such as JIRA, Polarion, or ALM
  • Experience in interface management between development, quality, suppliers, and customers
