Job Summary
As a Process Engineer at our Erwitte cement plant, you will be responsible for the continuous optimization of primary production processes, with a specific focus on clinker manufacturing. Your daily activities will include conducting audits, trials, and investigations on production equipment to improve efficiency. You will play a vital role in creating mass and energy balances, coordinating the commissioning of new technical solutions, and developing innovative concepts for process improvement. This position is highly collaborative, requiring you to support production staff in implementing optimization tasks and evaluating technical offers for modernization projects. The role is ideal for a proactive engineer who enjoys interdisciplinary work and unconventional problem-solving. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mining, or a comparable field of study.
Experience
- Professional experience in the cement, lime, or chemical industry is preferred
- Experience in conducting technical audits and trials on production plants
- Experience in creating material and energy balances for process optimization
- Experience in coordinating the commissioning of technical solutions
- Experience in evaluating technical offers for modernization and renewal
