As the Head of Research and Development at ZLT GmbH, you will lead the strategic and operational execution of R&D projects focused on indoor air quality and ventilation technology. Your daily responsibilities involve overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from initial development and testing to the final market introduction of new products. You will ensure all innovations comply with current legal standards, norms, and regulations while managing a dedicated team. Beyond pure R&D, you will collaborate on manufacturing projects, maintain documentation, and optimize the ERP system. This role is ideal for a technical leader who enjoys a mix of hands-on laboratory work—such as measurement technology and experimental setups—and high-level personnel management. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Physics, or a related field (Diploma Engineer, Bachelor, Master, or State-Certified Technician).
Experience
- Professional experience in a relevant engineering or technical field
- Experience in measurement technology, including setup, execution, and evaluation of experiments
- Experience in the development of electronic circuits and electrical devices
- Experience in software development
- Demonstrated leadership competence and personnel management experience
- Experience working with CAD software
