In this role, you will serve as a key professional at the Hessian Statistical Office, contributing to the foundational data that drives economic reporting for the state of Hesse. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve calculating and verifying regional economic results within the framework of national accounts, coordinating a specialized team, and refining calculation methodologies. You will analyze complex economic relationships, prepare results for various stakeholders, and represent the office in federal and state-level committees. Required Skills
Education
Master's degree or equivalent university degree, preferably in Economics, Business Informatics, or a related field.
Experience
- Professional experience in calculating, analyzing, or presenting statistical results and scientific data.
- Experience in coordinating work processes and ensuring quality standards within a team environment.
- Proven experience in programming with statistical software, specifically R or SAS.
- Demonstrated experience in drafting statements, press releases, and answering complex economic inquiries.
- Experience working within inter-departmental or inter-agency committees and working groups.
