As an IT Application Support Specialist, you will be a key member of the central IT department, ensuring the smooth operation and customization of the central Hospital Information System (HIS) and its associated clinical and administrative subsystems. Your daily responsibilities include analyzing application issues, troubleshooting error messages, and optimizing workflows through process analysis. Beyond maintenance, you will take on project or sub-project management roles to plan and document new software solutions. You will also provide professional and organizational training to clinical staff. This role is ideal for those who enjoy a mix of technical troubleshooting, digital transformation, and direct user consulting. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in (Medical) Informatics, completed vocational training in IT, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience within a hospital or clinical environment
  • Practical experience with clinical and medical processes
  • Experience with the 'Medico' Hospital Information System is highly desirable
  • Experience in project work and leading sub-projects
  • Experience in handling SQL databases and interface standards
  • Proven track record in service-oriented user support and consulting
