Job Summary

As a Patent Attorney at HENSOLDT, you will serve as the central point of contact for all patent-related matters, working closely with the Chief Technology Officer, engineering heads, and developers. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve drafting and filing intellectual property applications and managing proceedings before national and European patent and trademark offices. You will conduct patent searches, provide legal opinions, and lead Freedom-to-Operate (FTO) analyses to safeguard innovation. A key part of the role is developing an innovative patent strategy that bridges the gap between R&D and legal departments. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Long-term professional experience in a patent department of an international industrial company or a specialized law firm
  • Extensive experience in intellectual property rights (IPR) management
  • Proven track record in conducting proceedings before national and European patent offices
  • Experience in negotiating and enforcing legal positions in international proceedings
