Job Summary

This role involves supporting the Finance Department of the Evangelical Church of the Palatinate during a critical transition from cameralistic accounting to double-entry bookkeeping (Doppik). As a Finance Department Administrator, you will play a key role in selecting and implementing new financial software, integrating additional modules, and implementing a new chart of accounts. Your daily tasks will include assisting with the transition of existing church institutions into the new financial system and managing asset accounting. This position is ideal for professionals with a strong background in public administration or commercial accounting who enjoy project-oriented work. The role offers a family-friendly environment with flexible working hours, home office options, and the security of a public service contract (TVöD-VKA). This is a part-time position (30 hours per week) fixed-term until December 31, 2027, to cover parental leave.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration (Diplom or Bachelor), or qualified as a Tax Specialist (Steuerfachwirt), Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachwirt), or Certified Management Accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter).

Experience
